Job summary

Amentum in partnership with ICITAP seeks a qualified Aviation Infrastructure and Security SME to design, develop, and deliver an aviation security curriculum for host nation partners. The role emphasizes airport operations, airspace risk management, and risk mitigation strategies.

Travel to partner nations for hands-on workshops, with focus on UAS threats and federal standards. Independent contractor arrangement with potential for ongoing program support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) or similar field
• Knowledgeable on Aviation Security
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and in teams
• Experience designing, developing and delivering training programs
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive, classroom-based courses utilizing federal aviation security standards
• Adapt U.S. best practices for aviation security curricula to fit diverse Host Nation partners
• Instruct partners on identifying, assessing, and neutralizing security risks in airspace, including UAS/drone threats
• Design frameworks and case studies for airspace risk management and mitigation
• Travel TDY to partner nations to deliver workshops and exercises
• Prepare timely technical reports, work plans, and post-travel assessments for leadership
