Job summary

Amentum seeks a qualified Aviation Infrastructure and Security SME to design, develop, and deliver a specialized curriculum for host nation partners. The role focuses on airport operations, airspace risk management, and risk mitigation strategies within civilian aviation.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in federal aviation security or similar work, plus the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. This is an Independent Contractor position with travel to partner nations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) or similar field.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop aviation security curricula based on federal standards.
• Instruct on risk assessment and mitigation for airspace threats, including UAS.
• Travel TDY to partner nations to deliver workshops and exercises.
• Write timely technical reports, work plans and post-travel assessments.
• Tailor U.S. best practices to diverse host nation contexts.
