Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aviation Infrastructure and Security Subject Matter Expert to lead design, development, and delivery of a specialized curriculum for host nation partners. The role focuses on airport operations, airspace risk management, and effective risk mitigation strategies.

The candidate will adapt U.S. best practices to diverse environments, teach courses, and deliver workshops with travel to partner nations as needed. Strong knowledge of security standards and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: 10+ years in Federal Air Marshal Service or similar.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Demonstrated administrative and operational management ability.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to multi-task and deliver timely reports.
• Clearance eligibility note: US Citizenship required for Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop aviation security curricula and training modules.
• Tailor U.S. best practices to host nation contexts and legal authorities.
• Instruct on identifying and mitigating security risks in civil airspace, focusing on UAS threats.
• Create frameworks and case studies for airspace risk management and threat mitigation.
• Travel TDY to partner nations to deliver workshops and exercises.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and post-travel assessments.
