Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aviation Infrastructure and Security SME to lead the design, development, and delivery of a specialized curriculum for host nation partners. You will focus on airport operations, airspace risk management, and effective risk mitigation strategies, with overseas workshops and practical exercises.

The role requires senior expertise in federal aviation security, the ability to travel TDY, and the capacity to adapt U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) or similar field.
• Knowledgeable on Aviation Security.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (US Government).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and in teams.
• Demonstrated excellence in problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to multi-task multiple projects and submit reports timely.
• Proven track record in relationship building internally and externally.
• Experience substitutable by additional years of law enforcement or overseas development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop courses using federal aviation security standards.
• Tailor U.S. best practices for diverse host nations and legal authorities.
• Instruct on identifying and mitigating aviation security risks, including UAS threats.
• Create frameworks and case studies for airspace risk management and threat mitigation.
• Conduct short-term TDY travel to partner nations to deliver workshops.
• Produce timely technical reports, work plans, and post-travel assessments.
