Reliable Robotics in Mountain View, CA seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, build, test, and fly actuators and structures for remote-piloted aircraft. You will own hardware from concept through flight test, collaborating with Electrical, Systems, Software, GNC, and Flight Test teams.

BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering with 2+ years of experience is required, along with proficiency in CAD and FEM.

Qualificações

• BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years professional experience developing mechanical systems.
• Experience with current CAD and FEM packages.
• Experience in innovative system designs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, analyze, build, test, and fly a system of actuators, mechanisms, and structural modifications to enable remote piloted aircraft.
• Work with a team of top performing mechanical engineers alongside the greater Reliable team of outstanding Electrical, Systems, Software, GNC, Manufacturing, and Flight Test engineers.
• Own your hardware from concept through flight test and certification; cradle-to-grave engineering with hands-on build, test, and integration.
• Bring a sense of humility, and be ready to both learn and teach.
• Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
