Job summary

Reliable Robotics is seeking a Sr. Electrical Test Engineer to join the avionics engineering team in Mountain View, CA.

You will develop automated test solutions for complex hardware in a safety-critical environment and help scale our test operations from development to production. The role requires hands-on experience with test equipment, scripts in C/C++/Python, and a track record of improving test infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full cycle electronics hardware test or development experience in a professional environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Extensive experience with test equipment, measurement techniques, and hardware verification.
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (C, C++, Python) and ability to develop and maintain test software.
• Advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of automated test equipment systems for functional, environmental qualification, and manufacturing acceptance tests.
• Analyze test results to identify failure modes, lead root cause investigations, and drive improvements back into designs.
• Author, execute, and audit test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful testing campaigns.
• Drive continuous improvement to test system infrastructure, processes, and practices.
