Job summary

Aptaero is seeking a Technical Implementation Manager in Schaumburg, IL for a full-time, hybrid role with occasional travel for customer training and go-lives. You will own customer implementations from sales handoff through go-live, post-launch support, and transition to Support and Account Management.

You will personally configure systems, prepare data, run testing, train users, and manage project plans, timelines, and customer communications.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience implementing B2B software.
• Experience configuring systems, importing data, testing workflows, and training users.
• Curiosity about how customers operate and why they bought the software before configuring it.
• Comfort using admin tools, spreadsheets, and data templates.
• Strong organization and ability to document status and decisions.
• Ability to write clear requirements and work with developers.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and pass a DHS background check.

Responsibilities

• Configure airlines, airports, stations, users, and business rules.
• Prepare and import the customer's reference and operational data.
• Write test scripts and conduct functional testing and customer user acceptance testing.
• Train end users and administrators remotely or on-site.
• Plan and carry out cutover, go-live, and 30 days of post-launch support.
• Complete a documented handoff to Support and Account Management.
