Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to support the FAA Spectrum Engineering Services Group located in Seattle, Denver, or Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate has a degree in electrical engineering and at least four years of RF experience, including spectrum analysis and interference mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 4+ years of RF engineering experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain FAA-compatible security clearance.
• US citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report RF interference affecting NAS operations.
• Evaluate urgency and impact of RF interference reports.
• Conduct remote and on-site RF interference investigations.
• Perform field investigations using spectrum analyzers and DF equipment.
• Interpret technical data and apply mitigation best practices.
• Coordinate with system users, engineers, and managers.
• Prepare comprehensive investigation reports for senior management.
• Travel up to 50% within the Western Service Area as needed.
