Job summary

Leidos' FAA Spectrum Engineering Services Group in Chicago, Illinois seeks an Electrical Engineer/Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to support the FAA CNS systems within the NAS. The ideal candidate has a degree in electrical engineering and at least 2 years in RF spectrum analysis and interference mitigation.

This office-based role requires travel up to 50% and US citizenship with an Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of RF engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain Active Secret clearance.
• US citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate RF interference reports affecting NAS operations.
• Conduct remote and on-site RF interference investigations.
• Use spectrum analyzers, direction finding equipment, and RF tools for investigations.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Travel up to 50% for on-site investigations across the Central Service Area.
