Job summary

Safran is seeking a Repair Technician I for the 2nd shift to perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with FAA data and manufacturers' instructions for continued airworthiness. You will conduct inspections, read schematics, and utilize ERP, Sentry File, and Pro Works to ensure compliance and quality.

The role requires basic math, ability to organize multiple tasks, and collaboration within a team.

Qualifications

• Provides verbal and written status of repair progress.
• Reads and comprehends written process specification documents.
• Ability to read and comprehend schematics and work instructions.
• Utilizes ERP systems for daily transactions such as labor hours and work orders.
• Familiar with Sentry File to access engineering documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles according to FAA data.
• Inspects during preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process and final stages per data and directives.
• Maintains organized and clean work areas per 5S standards.
• Supports training of Assemblers, Technicians and ATP Operators as directed.
• Participates in team meetings (QRQC, morning stand-up).
• Performs preventative maintenance on tools and equipment as directed.
