Job summary

Embraer in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an avionics/aircraft electrical technician to perform maintenance, testing, and installation of avionics components and systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and modify systems, ensuring compliance with FAA procedures and OEM data.

The role requires an FAA A&P or Repairman Certificate (Avionics), a current FCC license if possible, and a minimum of 1 year depot-level avionics experience. OSHA and FAA regulations apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current FAA A&P or Repairman Certificate (Avionics) required.
• FCC license desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine or special avionics/electrical maintenance inspections and checks.
• Fabricate wiring harnesses and install/modify avionic and electrical systems.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and work packages; select parts and perform repairs as needed.
• Test repaired components with manufacturer-specified equipment and validate functionality.
• Document work complete with proper sign-off and records.
• Install digital avionic equipment and ensure compliance with FAA/OEM procedures.
