Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an entry-level Repair and Overhaul Technician to join our team in Carson, CA. This contract-to-hire role focuses on second shift with training options on first or second shift, performing maintenance and inspections on civil aviation articles in line with FAA-approved data.

The role requires hands-on mechanical work, use of hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and applying sealants in a regulated environment.

  • Experience with maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles per FAA data.
  • Ability to perform preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process and final inspections.

Job Title: Repair and Overhaul TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Repair and Overhaul Technician, where you will work the 2nd shift with the flexibility to train on either the 1st or 2nd shift. You will perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles, ensuring compliance with FAA-approved technical data and manufacturers instructions. As an Inspector, you will conduct thorough inspections, including preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections, adhering to industry standards.Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with FAA-approved technical data.
  • Conduct preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections on aviation articles.
  • Utilize assembly tools, equipment, and mechanical and visual aids applicable to the scope of work.
  • Apply and handle sealants and adhesives as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas.
  • Participate in the FAA Drug and Alcohol Program.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carson, California.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
