Job summary

CTL Aerospace seeks an Aviation Repair QC Inspector at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio facility to perform NDT inspections on aerospace hardware. You will set up and calibrate equipment, conduct tests, interpret results, and document findings in accordance with NAS-410 and FAA requirements.

The role includes visual inspections, evaluation of hardware, and releasing parts for outside processes under a DOT/FAA-compliant program.

Qualifications

• 40 hours of documented classroom NDT training in FPI & UT
• Minimum 400 hours of practical hands-on NDT experience
• Familiar with codes, standards, and contractual documents that control the method
• Willingness to become certified to Customer Specific Certified Examiner requirements (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment; conduct tests; interpret, evaluate and document results
• Perform visual inspections as needed (preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, final) on metal/composite aerospace articles
• Evaluate hardware at designated steps during repair processes
• Release hardware to outside processes and inspect hardware from outside processes
• Maintain thorough documentation of NDT results and ensure compliance with FAA/DOT requirements
