Job summary

PROtect LLC seeks an Aviation NDT Level III / Chief Inspector to lead NAS 410 compliant NDT activities and supervise the Repair Station’s inspection and quality-control functions under FAA Part 145. The role combines technical authority with leadership responsibilities and cross-functional coordination.

You will oversee UT, ET, PT, and VT methods, administer personnel qualifications, and support audits, certifications, and customer inspections as required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Aviation NDT
• Proven ability to develop and approve NDT procedures
• Experience administering NAS 410 personnel qualification and certification

Responsibilities

• Serve as NDT Level III for UT, ET, PT, VT per NAS 410 and Written Practice.
• Oversee inspection QC under FAA Part 145.
• Develop and approve NDT procedures and training materials.
• Mentor Level II personnel and oversee certifications.
• Coordinate with FAA, OEMs, and customers on inspections.
