Job summary

Precision Aviation Group in Carrollton, TX, seeks an NDT Inspector to interpret inspection results, review tech data, identify defects, and document evaluations to ensure airworthiness. You will maintain calibration of inspection equipment and support audits in a fast-paced aerospace repair environment.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years in NDT within aerospace, Level I, and familiar with NAS 410 or SNT-TC-1A standards. FAA Part 145 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FAA regulations and aerospace quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify defects and determine acceptance criteria.
• Proficient in documentation and recordkeeping.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and inspection software.

Responsibilities

• Interpret inspection results and determine acceptability of aerospace components per specs and standards.
• Review work orders, drawings, data, repair manuals, and inspection procedures.
• Identify defects, discontinuities, corrosion, and material conditions affecting airworthiness.
• Complete inspection reports and test records accurately and timely.
• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained.
