Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. Jacksonville, FL is seeking Aviation Maintenance Technicians to repair and modify aircraft for military and commercial customers.

The role focuses on precise drilling, fastener work, and adherence to blueprints and instructions while maintaining documentation and safety standards. The position requires 3+ years in aircraft mechanics, strong reading of drawings, and the ability to work accurately with tight tolerances.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years Aircraft Mechanic experience (commercial/defense or relevant trade apprenticeship)
  • 3+ years reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics and specifications
  • Ability to close tolerance drilling within .003 and to measure with precision within .003

Responsibilities

  • Identify fastener types (rivets, screws, hi-locks, bolts) and determine installation methods
  • Read and interpret blueprints and maintenance data sheets
  • Demonstrate cleaning, corrosion prevention, and finish application techniques
  • Use precision measuring tools and know correct cutting tools for removal/installation
  • Remove and reinstall access panels and panels without damaging surrounding structure
  • Safely wire and install cotter pins
  • Apply aircraft finishes, primers, Alodine, and sealants
  • Perform structural repairs/modifications on military and commercial aircraft components
  • Utilize jigging and repair equipment to locate, trim, drill, deburr, and assemble parts
  • Ensure maintenance logs, work packages and handovers are completed on time
