Job summary

Placements24 seeks an Aviation Technical Records Clerk to join the maintenance administration team in East London. You will maintain, file, and audit aircraft maintenance records to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in MS Office is expected; aviation terminology familiarity is a plus. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in administrative role preferred, especially in aviation.
• Familiarity with aviation maintenance records and terminology helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update aircraft technical records, including maintenance logs and component history.
• Ensure all completed maintenance tasks are documented and certified by authorized personnel.
• Audit technical records for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Process and file incoming maintenance documentation promptly and efficiently.
• Assist QA with record-keeping for audits and inspections.
• Manage archiving and retrieval of historical maintenance records.
• Liaise with maintenance engineers to resolve discrepancies in records.
