Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide is seeking an experienced Supervisor for the Aircraft Records Department to ensure FAA 121.380 compliance and accurate electronic/physical records management. You will oversee monthly audits, train new hires, and support analysts in data validation for new aircraft acquisitions.

The role requires 3–4 years in aviation maintenance, a BA/BS in Business or Aviation preferred, and strong writing, communication, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years in an aviation maintenance environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Aviation preferred
• Ability to read and decipher technical aircraft data
• Strong writing, communication, and computer skills
• Supervisory and administrative experience
• Aviation records experience preferred
• Trax experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Keep aircraft records required by FAA 121.380 and General Maintenance Manual
• Maintain electronic file system for each aircraft with maintenance records and flight logs
• Audit monthly to ensure all Aircraft Log pages are accounted for
• Audit Letter Service Check Packages monthly
• Maintain/audit computerized tracking for hard time and life‑limited parts
• Maintain electronic records and retrieve files promptly
• Prepare the Aircraft Monthly Utilization Report
• Train new hires and assist analysts as needed
• Assist phase in team with flight data for new aircraft purchases or leases
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Escalate issues to management when appropriate
• Accomplish additional tasks as directed by the Manager Aircraft Records
