Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Independence, KS is seeking a Receiving Inspector II to manage receipt and induction of aviation components per applicable data and procedures. You will verify freight, documents, and photos, then route items to the correct locations after induction while supporting ERP-based processes.

The role requires 1–2 years of receiving experience, basic Word/Excel skills, and strong written and verbal communication. A background check and drug testing are included in the process.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of receiving experience required.
• Basic computer operating skills (Word, Excel).
• Proficient in writing and communication skills.
• Able to read and comprehend technical data and customer purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Contract Review Process of components after they are inducted to ensure customer expectations are communicated clearly.
• Interact with the Customer Service Advocates to clarify customer expectations as needed.
• Perform preliminary detail inspection of components to identify loose, extra, missing or damaged parts.
• Receive and sign for freight from delivery services.
• Sort freight to the appropriate area.
• Open boxes of freight and verify contents against paperwork.
• Fill out documentation for components received without sufficient information.
• Complete the 360° receiving photographs in a photo booth.
• Distribute components to appropriate locations after induction.
• Other duties as assigned.
