Job summary

Vse Aviation Inc (us) is seeking a Receiving Inspector II to handle the intake and induction of aviation components for maintenance and alterations. You will ensure customers’ expectations are clearly communicated after induction and participate in the contract review process with Customer Service Advocates when needed.

SUMMARY: The Receiving Inspector II is responsible for the receiving and the induction of aviation components that are due for maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Perform the Contract Review Process of components after they are inducted to ensure customer expectations are communicated clearly.Interact with the Customer Service Advocates to clarify customer expectations as needed.Perform preliminary detail inspection of component to identify any loose, extra, missing or damaged parts.Receive and sign for the freight from delivery services.Sort freight to the appropriate area.Open boxes of freight and confirm contents match the paperwork received.Fill out appropriate documentation for components received without sufficient information.Complete the 360° receiving photographs in a photo booth.Distribute the components to the appropriate locations after induction.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:1-2 years of receiving experience required.Basic computer operating skills (Word, Excel).Be proficient in writing and communication skills.Can read and comprehend technical data and customer purchase orders.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Aviation Accessory experience.0-1 years contract review experience in the aviation industry.0-1 years of ERP system operation.OTHER:The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
