Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Wichita, KS is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to coordinate and execute shipments of goods and aerospace components, ensuring quality, deadlines, and accurate inventory records to support manufacturing operations.

You will work with production, quality control, and logistics teams, prepare shipments, maintain records in inventory systems, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Prepare shipments for transport, including labeling, packaging, and documentation according to aerospace and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and receipts, including data entry into inventory management systems and generation of shipping/receiving reports.
• Update inventory records to reflect received goods, monitor stock levels, and report discrepancies or shortages to the appropriate departments.
• Ensure that all outbound shipments are packed securely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all shipping and receiving activities comply with aerospace industry standards, export regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups, resolve delivery issues, and ensure timely transport of goods.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that outgoing products meet aerospace quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with deliveries, shipments, or inventory data.
• Follow all safety regulations, maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials when applicable.
