Job summary

Alliance Ground International is seeking a Duty Manager in Columbus, OH to lead ramp teams, supervise operations, and ensure safe, efficient aircraft handling. The role focuses on staffing, scheduling, and serving as the main contact for customers and management to minimize delays.

Ideal candidates will have three years of ramp agent experience and three years of progressive aviation management experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to obtain airport security clearance.

Qualifications

• Three years of ramp agent experience.
• Three years of progressive aviation management experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screen and obtain airport security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the ramp team as they load/unload and service aircraft.
• Create and manage schedules to ensure adequate staffing for ramp operations.
• Assist recruiting and provide on-the-job training and development for team members.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and management to minimize delays.
• Observe and enforce safety regulations and company policies on all shifts.
• Ensure GSE maintenance procedures are followed and completed on shift.
• Read weight and balance loading instructions and logs for billing purposes.
• Identify future business opportunities and report to station management.
• Assist with ramp duties (safety walks, baggage handling, aircraft servicing) as needed.
