Job summary

GAT Airline Ground Support at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport is hiring ramp agents to load/unload baggage, guide airplanes, and operate ground equipment. No prior experience required; training provided and uniforms supplied.

Ideal candidates are comfortable in all weather, able to work under time pressure, and capable of teamwork. A high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and good driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass physical agility test.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Familiar with basic computer programs for record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, load, unload and transport baggage and cargo.
• Guide aircraft to and from gate positions.
• Drive and operate ground equipment (tugs, carts, loaders).
• Assist with record-keeping and documentation for baggage routing.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain safe working conditions.
• Communicate with managers and lead agents to manage schedules.
• Report equipment problems and breakdowns for fast repairs.
