Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is hiring Ramp Agents to load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail and guide aircraft to gates. You will ensure secure handling on the ground following safety standards and airline guidelines, while supporting various ground operations to keep airport services flowing.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access and interpret information on devices (IPads/Tablets).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• FAA/RAIC/TSA credentials may be required.
• Aeronautical environment demands shift flexibility (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft with accuracy.
• Operate ground service equipment (pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, baggage carts).
• Read and analyze load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels.
• Marshalling aircraft to and from gates.
• Ensure safe movement of aircraft on the ground.
• Follow safety protocols and airline regulations.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Lift heavy objects in varying weather conditions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and airline personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Inspect equipment and report issues.
• Follow standard operating procedures for ramp operations.
• Adapt to flight schedule changes and priorities.
• Demonstrate PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
