Job summary

PrimeFlightAviation Services, Inc. is hiring Ramp Agents to load/unload baggage, cargo, and mail, and to guide aircraft to gates. You will operate ground service equipment, read load sheets, marshal aircraft, and ensure safe ground movement in a fast-paced team setting.

Applicants must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., hold a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screen. FAA/TSA credentials may be required; shifts include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobile Devices).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials/clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs as applicable).
• Airlines are 24/7, so shifts including nights, weekends and holidays must be available.

Responsibilities

• Repetitive loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft with accuracy.
• Operate ground service equipment such as pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
• Read and analyze aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags, and cargo labels.
• Marshalling aircraft to and from gates.
• Ensure safe movement of aircraft on the ground.
• Adhere to safety protocols and airline regulations.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Lift heavy objects in varying weather conditions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and airline personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report issues.
• Follow standard operating procedures for ramp operations.
• Adapt to changing flight schedules and priorities.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
