Job summary

Regional One Inc. in Greenville, SC seeks a Quality Control Inspector, Lead to provide daily technical direction and oversight for the inspection team.

This role reports to the Chief Inspector and ensures AS9100D compliance, aviation quality standards, and traceability across all inspection activities. The Lead inspector will drive onboarding, training, and development of inspectors, manage audit readiness, and support continuous improvement of quality processes and inventory integrity within

Qualifications

• 4+ years in aviation quality, technical records, stores inspection, MRO or aircraft-parts distribution.
• Advanced knowledge of aviation quality systems, FAA regulations, AS9100D standards, and traceability.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial technical resource and escalation point for inspectors on regulatory compliance and inspection standards.
• Collaborate to reinforce inspection standards and material disposition decisions.
• Guide development of Quality Control Inspectors to improve technical competency and regulatory knowledge.
• Facilitate onboarding, qualification programs, training plans, and skills assessments.
• Support audit readiness by reviewing documentation, certificates, and inspection processes.
• Lead quality investigation aspects of nonconforming material and traceability concerns.
• Support internal, supplier, and regulatory audits and ongoing certification efforts.
