Job summary

Ascent Aviation Services is actively seeking an experienced Quality Control Lead Inspector to safeguard airworthiness by inspecting parts, components, and materials. You will lead the QC team, mentor inspectors, and review technical records for FAA compliance, fostering a culture of safety and quality.

Join a 24/7 operation with varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and 12-hour schedules. Candidates must be flexible; overtime and shift differentials may apply.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership ability to guide, mentor, and coordinate a team.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding the English language.
• Skilled in using computer systems, maintenance manuals, documentation systems, and applying Federal Aviation Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review non-preplanned documents to identify repair/parts needs and provide timely estimates.
• Ensure aircraft parts removed are documented with a valid job number and proper work scope.
• Record inspection data and flag irregularities to ensure safety and airworthiness.
