King Aerospace Ardmore is seeking a Chief Inspector to lead the Quality Assurance team and oversee the Inspection Department. The role ensures compliance with 14 CFR Part 145, RSQCM, TPM, and ISO/AS9110 standards while acting as the regulator liaison and maintaining airworthiness.

The position requires long aviation experience, FAA Chief Inspector qualifications, and IA/A&P credentials. Leadership, accuracy, and regulatory discipline are essential for success in this role.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of aviation experience across multiple aircraft types.
• At least ten (10) years of experience as a Chief Inspector or Quality Supervisor supporting heavy maintenance, modification, and repair projects.
• Must meet FAA qualification requirements for Chief Inspector under 14 CFR Part 145.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee quality assurance functions to ensure RSQCM, TPM, Operations Manual, and ISO/AS9110 compliance.
• Ensure compliance with ADs, SBs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Represent the company to regulatory agencies on inspection practices and airworthiness.
• Submit FAA reports of defects or non-airworthy conditions per FAR 145.63.
• Develop and revise manuals to maintain FAA and AS9110 compliance.
• Monitor calibration records for NIST traceability of tools and equipment.
• Conduct facility audits to verify safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain the inspector roster in accordance with Part 145 requirements.
• Ensure inspection training programs meet regulatory requirements.
• Oversee weight and balance activities as needed.
• Coordinate inspection functions with department supervisors.
