Qualifications

• 5 years relevant to FAA 145 Repair Station aircraft/component sheet metal structural repairs
• Experience with inspection of repairs and ensuring airworthiness
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and engineering drawings
• Experience navigating computerized maintenance recording systems (e.g., Corridor)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook for documentation

Responsibilities

• Inspect components for proper assembly using repair techniques and ensure compliance with data requirements
• Coordinate with Engineering for documentation of repairs that exceed repair data
• Use and interpret manufacturers' maintenance manuals and engineering drawings
• Utilize precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, etc.)
• Maintain proper inspection records and continuity sheets through all stages
• Create discrepancies found during inspection processes
• Perform computer data entry and update inspection logs
• Monitor inspection requests from Maintenance Technicians
• Research ICA data and related aviation data portals
• Communicate quality findings with Inspectors and Supervisors
