Job summary

West Star Aviation’s DAS Aviation unit in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking a Weekend Shift Quality In-Process Inspector to verify maintenance meets safety and airworthiness standards. You will perform visual inspections, use precision measuring tools, review records, and ensure parts are properly finished and configured before return to service.

The role requires FAA 145 repair station experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work weekends in a fast-paced hangar environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license or passport preferred but not mandatory.
• Aviation Maintenance Technician certificate preferred.
• 5 years FAA 145 related experience.
• Experience navigating maintenance data portals and OEM data.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections to ensure safety and airworthiness.
• Review records and ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Use precision measuring tools and document findings clearly.
• Create discrepancies and communicate with Inspectors/Supervisors.
• Enter data into computer systems and monitor inspection requests.
