Job summary

West Star Aviation seeks a Quality Control Inspector to uphold FAA-based quality standards and work with aircraft technicians, program managers, team leaders, and QA staff. The role emphasizes inspection execution, sign-offs, and cross-department coordination to ensure airframes meet return-to-service criteria.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, an A&P license (IA preferred), and at least 3 years of turbine aircraft inspection experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; A&P license or repairman certificate required; IA rating recommended.
• 3 years turbine aircraft inspection experience with return to service authority required.
• Familiar with FAA regulations and related manuals; customer service experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Inspect technician work, perform ok to close, and audit to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure proper sign-offs in Corridor as part of the inspection process.
• Participate in daily review meetings and assist with airframe inspections.
• Coordinate with departments to get steps signed off and clearance for squawks.
• Maintain the Equipment Removal and Installation Log and assist QA with data issues.
• Communicate clearly in English with team leaders and management.
