Job summary

Textron Systems' ATAC unit is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA department, ensuring safety, quality, and continuous improvement across contracts. The role reports to the Director of Maintenance and is based in Fort Worth.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in aircraft maintenance/QA, an FAA A&P license with IA preferred, and strong supervisory and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QA processes is essential; travel is up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in aircraft maintenance management or Quality Assurance.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required; Inspection Authorization preferred.
• Strong supervisory, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and direct reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Quality Assurance efforts for ATAC-Adversary Center of Excellence.
• Organize assignments and priorities for QA staff.
• Ensure maintenance functions comply with FAA, DoD, OEM, NAVAIR, and QA/Safety requirements.
• Develop and review Maintenance Policies and Ground Operating Procedures (GOPs).
• Coordinate with Quality Control for audits and issue resolutions.
• Travel up to 20% as required.
