Job summary

Vectrus, Inc. is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance for the DoS INL/A Worldwide Aviation Support Services program, based in Melbourne, FL with potential remote work visits.

You will lead QA activities across audits, metrics, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with ISO 9000/SEI guidance. You will coordinate with Capture, Transition, pricing, HR and contracts to sustain performance through the 10-year contract.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Quality Assurance Manager or equivalent.
• 7+ years preferred in QA leadership.
• 4 years QA experience with aviation/aerospace program.
• Experience applying QA metrics and systems quality assessment.
• 4 years progressive QA/QA control.
• Familiarity with DoD/ISO 9000 and SEI guidance.
• Bachelor's degree in quality management or QA.
• Fluent English; Spanish Level L-2 in LATAM programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight using audits, QDRs, and inspections.
• Review and maintain QA documentation; ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with recognized standards and contract requirements.
• Manage QA personnel and certify program deliverables.
• Develop new monitoring methods and procedures.
• Prepare QA documentation for program milestones.
• Partner with Capture Manager to shape program management and metrics.
• Lead development of proposal PM structure, governance, and performance sections.
• Validate maintenance, supply chain, quality, safety, and subcontractor strategies.
• Collaborate with Transition Manager for seamless integration.
• Coordinate with pricing, contracts, HR, and SMEs on labor ramp and controls.
• Participate in solutioning sessions and color-team reviews.
• Ensure KPIs and aircraft availability metrics are measurable and contract-aligned.
• Maintain traceability between proposal commitments and post-award baselines.
