Job summary

V2X is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance to support the DoS INL/A WASS program. The role is CONUS-based in Melbourne, FL with permissible remote work and periodic customer visits.

You will lead the QA department, drive audits, and ensure compliance across all deliverables to sustain program quality in a complex aviation environment. Requirements include 5+ years as QA Manager, 5+ years with QASP, 4+ years aviation QA experience, and DoD/ISO knowledge.

Qualifications

• At least five years as a quality assurance manager or related role.
• At least five years running a QA Surveillance Program (QASP) for a service contract of comparable scope and complexity.
• Four years of quality assurance experience with an aviation/aerospace program.
• Experience with QA metrics and systems quality assessment.
• Four years of progressive experience in quality assurance/control.
• Knowledge of DoD/ISO 9000 series and SEI guidance.
• Bachelor's degree in quality management or related field; can be substituted for experience.
• English fluent; Spanish level 2/2 required in LATAM programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight via audits, monitors, QDR system, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with recognized standards and practices; review documentation.
• Manage QA personnel and certify program deliverables meet requirements.
• Ensure contract requirements are met and monitor performance.
• Develop new monitoring methods and procedures.
• Prepare and review QA documentation; maintain traceability from proposal to execution.
• Support rapid conversion of proposal artifacts into baselines post-award.
