Placements24 is seeking an Aviation Quality Assurance Inspector for a fully remote role. You will remotely review maintenance records, perform virtual audits, and ensure adherence to aviation regulations and QMS.

The position emphasizes data-driven assessments and comprehensive reporting from a home office. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years in aviation QA or maintenance, with a degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering and a preference for an AME license.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• AME license or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation quality assurance or aircraft maintenance.
• Deep knowledge of aviation regulations and QMS.
• Experience with multiple aircraft types and their maintenance programs.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficient in using digital tools for documentation review and virtual audits.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote QA reviews of aircraft maintenance records, work orders, and technical documentation.
• Conduct virtual audits of facilities, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company quality standards.
• Identify non-conformities and develop corrective/preventive actions.
• Prepare detailed QA reports and present findings to management.
• Maintain organized QA records and collaborate with maintenance teams.
• Stay updated on latest aviation regulations and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
