Job summary

Ascent Aviation Services is seeking an experienced Quality Control Lead Inspector to ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness by inspecting parts, components, and materials. You will mentor inspectors, coordinate daily assignments, and promote a culture of safety and quality across operations.

We operate 24/7 with flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and 12-hour schedules. Preference is given to candidates available between 2:30 PM and 7:00 AM.

Qualifications

• A&P license required.
• 3 years of aircraft inspection experience in a high-volume MRO environment.
• 1 year of leadership experience providing technical guidance to inspectors and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Review non-preplanned documents to identify repair methods and parts requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation of parts during routing to Technical Services.
• Lead and mentor QC team; coordinate daily assignments and training.
• Perform aircraft inspections and flightline operations to maintain airworthiness.
• Record inspection data and report irregularities to Chief Inspector.
• Maintain compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards.
• Oversee safety, quality, and adherence to policies across shifts.
