Job summary

Soundair Aviation Services in Snohomish, WA, is seeking a Purchasing professional to manage aviation material procurement and support ongoing repair activities.

You will develop vendor relations, issue and track POs, maintain inventories, and collaborate with receiving, sales, and accounting to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has strong MS Office skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3 years related experience; aviation experience preferred.
• 3 years purchasing/aviation experience preferred.
• Strong data entry and MS Excel skills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Purchase bench stock, parts, and end items while minimizing costs.
• Maintain inventories, transactions, and reports.
• Provide admin support including data entry, issuing PO's, updating MRP system.
• Develop and maintain vendor relations; contact vendors about discrepancies and track shipments.
• Coordinate with receiving, sales, technical, accounting, operations, and logistics.
• Other duties as assigned.
