Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum of 7 years of civil engineering experience, including at least 3 years in civil engineering project design.
• Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Demonstrated experience managing aviation or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to client sites throughout the region.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage a variety of aviation and civil infrastructure projects.
• Oversee stormwater, utility infrastructure, and pavement design and assessments.
• Manage construction support services, including construction management and inspection.
• Lead and coordinate large, multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, and permit applications.
• Analyze design alternatives, technical data, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Maintain and grow client relationships with local and national aviation partners.
• Support business development, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
• Mentor and develop junior team members to promote technical excellence.
