Job summary

GFT is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager with an Aviation Focus to join our Architectural team, working in Denver, Phoenix, Dallas or South Florida offices, with a nationwide consideration. Hybrid work model requiring regular office attendance.

You will lead aviation projects for airports and airline clients, build client relationships, mentor teams, develop design concepts, oversee production of construction documents, and coordinate disciplines.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Registered Architect in the United States.
• 15 years’ experience on aviation projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients.
• Deep knowledge of IBC, NFPA, ADA, LEED and related standards.
• Proven ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead aviation projects from concept through construction.
• Build and maintain client relationships for airports and airlines.
• Develop project scopes, schedules and budgets.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate engineering disciplines.
• Prepare proposals in response to RFQs/RFPs.
