Job summary

GFT is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager with an Aviation Focus to join our national aviation practice, including offices in Denver, Phoenix, Dallas or South Florida. The right candidate could be considered nationwide, with a hybrid work model requiring regular office attendance.

You will lead complex aviation projects, mentor teams, and strengthen client relationships while contributing to the future of airport design across the country.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Registered Architect in the United States.
• Bachelor of Architecture Degree or Master of Architecture Degree.
• 15 years’ experience with Aviation Projects.
• Effective writer, communicator, detail-oriented designer.
• Able to work collaboratively with staff and clients on multiple projects.
• In depth knowledge of International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as aviation SME for projects and teams.
• Lead aviation projects from survey through design and construction.
• Develop design concepts and presentations.
• Coordinate work of all disciplines and mentor staff.
• Lead and respond to RFQs/RFPs and other solicitations.
