Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 5 years of engineering experience in project engineering or product development.
• Experience in aerospace/aviation or aircraft modifications preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept through certification to production.
• Familiarity with stage-gate product development methodologies and aircraft structures/systems.
• Proficiency with CAD/PLM tools and reading engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new product development initiatives within budget and schedule.
• Manage projects through the stage-gate development cycle with best-practice methodologies.
• Lead multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional teams and risk tracking.
• Drive product development through manufacturing start-up and transition to production.
• Interface with internal departments and customers to capture performance requirements and translate into statements of work.
• Provide design support for new products, STC kits, and customized aircraft completions.
• Prepare, review, and release engineering drawings and documentation per specs and standards.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, and supplier interfaces for engineering programs.
