Job summary

Bell is seeking a Project Engineer Specialist to lead new product development and manage engineering projects from concept through production, supporting aircraft completions and STC kits. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with Bell/AA/FAA standards while maintaining safety and quality at the Piney Flats facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in project engineering, product development, or aircraft modifications.
• Experience in aerospace/aviation, aircraft completions, STC development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development initiatives and engineering projects within budget and schedule constraints.
• Manage projects through the stage-gate development cycle with best-practice methodologies.
• Lead multiple concurrent projects across cross-functional teams with status reporting and risk tracking.
• Drive product development through manufacturing start-up, tooling definition, and production transition.
