Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Piney Flats, TN, is seeking a Project Engineer Specialist to lead new product development from concept through manufacturing start-up, ensuring performance, schedule and budget alignment.

You will drive cross-functional projects, manage stage-gate cycles, coordinate tooling and supplier interfaces, and ensure designs meet Bell/AA/FAA standards, with a strong safety culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering.
• 5 years engineering experience in project engineering or aircraft mods.
• Experience with aerospace, completions, STC development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development initiatives within budget and schedule.
• Manage stage-gate development cycles and cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate manufacturing start-up activities and tooling.
• Translate customer requirements into SOWs for Design and Certification.
• Provide design support for aircraft systems and STC kits.
• Ensure drawings and docs comply with Bell/AA/FAA standards.
