Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Piney Flats, TN is seeking a Project Engineer Specialist to lead new product development and engineering projects from concept through production.

You will manage stage-gate processes, coordinate cross-functional teams, and support aircraft systems and STC development. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5 years of project engineering experience in aerospace, with strong CAD/PLM skills and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, Aeronautical/Aerospace or related engineering discipline is required.
• 5 years of engineering experience in project engineering, product development, or aircraft modifications.
• Experience in aerospace/aviation, aircraft completions, STC development, or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new product development initiatives and engineering projects within budget and schedule constraints.
• Manage projects through stage-gate development cycle and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, report status, track risks, and conduct gate reviews.
