Job summary

HNTB Bellevue (Seattle, WA) is seeking an Engineering graduate with substantial aviation project experience to join the Aviation Department. The role leads design tasks, coordinates with multiple disciplines, and strengthens client relationships for projects across the Pacific Northwest and the nation.

The position involves producing design calculations, technical reports, and drawings, mentoring junior staff, and supporting delivery of diverse infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Master’s degree in Engineering or PhD in Engineering with relevant experience
• 6 years of relevant experience for Aviation department roles or equivalent
• Ability to lead aviation projects and coordinate across disciplines

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work and manage schedule and budget for projects
• Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within the discipline
• Oversee completeness and accuracy of the project team’s work and mentor junior staff
• Coordinate technical aspects with client counterparts and teaming partners
• Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects
• Perform other duties as assigned
