Job summary

The HNTB Bellevue (Seattle, WA) office is seeking an experienced Engineering professional to join our Aviation Department on a variety of projects across the Pacific Northwest and nationwide.

The successful candidate will lead aviation design tasks, coordinate closely with other disciplines, mentor junior staff, and deliver design calculations, reports, drawings and specifications on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or
• PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production and modification of design calculations, reports, plans and specifications for assigned projects.
• Consults with project manager to perform research, development and design tasks to meet project schedule.
• Develops conceptual and detailed designs and calculations to support project completion.
• May mentor and review work of junior staff and provide constructive feedback.
• Contributes to successful project delivery for a diverse range of aviation projects.
