Job summary

PMA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to independently lead assigned workstreams for aviation capital projects at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder decisions while interfacing with airport representatives, designers, contractors, and adjacent project teams.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in a technical discipline, and proven owner-representative capabilities in active airport environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience on aviation, terminal, or large-scale capital projects.
• Demonstrated owner-representative experience managing full lifecycle in an active airport or similarly complex environment.
• Strong ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder requirements independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, meeting leadership, and executive reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned project workstreams from planning through commissioning and closeout.
• Establish and maintain scope, interfaces, deliverables, schedules, dependencies, constraints, and key decision dates.
• Coordinate design and stakeholder coordination among airport representatives, designers, contractors, and operational teams.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, changes, risks, and potential impacts; elevate significant issues.
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, approvals, and acceptance requirements.
• Evaluate construction phasing, logistics, and sequencing with airport operations in mind.
• Prepare concise project reporting communicating status, risks, issues, and actions to leadership.
• Coordinate operational readiness, transition activities, punch-list, and closeout.
• Other duties as assigned.
• 10+ years of relevant project management experience; Major terminal renovation or expansion experience preferred; Direct SFO or airline project experience preferred.
