Job summary

STV is seeking a Project Controls Manager in our Chicago office to lead cost management, scheduling, risk, forecasting, and reporting for major aviation programs across the Midwest and nationwide.

The role collaborates with airport authorities, owners, designers, contractors, and program management teams to ensure efficient delivery of complex airports, terminals, and baggage handling projects. Requires 10+ years in project controls and 5+ years in aviation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive project controls experience on major infrastructure and capital programs.
• Minimum 5 years of aviation project experience including airports, terminals, airside facilities, baggage systems, or related infra.
• Expertise in Cost Engineering, CPM Scheduling, Forecasting & Cash Flow Analysis, Risk Management, Change Management, EVM, and reporting.
• Experience reviewing contractor schedules, budgets, forecasts, and project controls deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls across aviation infrastructure programs from planning to closeout.
• Develop and implement project controls procedures, governance, standards, and best practices.
• Serve as liaison between project teams, clients, contractors, and executives; provide oversight of cost, schedule, risk, forecasting, reporting.
