Job summary

STV is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Aviation to join our national Aviation team to oversee and direct airport terminal improvements onsite for one of our clients in New York, NY or Newark, NJ.

You will lead project management, design and construction activities, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage schedule, cost, and risk using Primavera P6/PMIS to ensure timely delivery of multi-million dollar capital programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience on airport projects.
• Knowledge of airport operations, design, and construction of airport facilities.
• Ability to oversee multiple construction activities on complex capital infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management, technical oversight and leadership for all phases of aviation projects including business case development, stakeholder engagement, design management, procurement, permitting and approvals, scheduling, cost and change management, safety, quality control and ORAT.
• Provide guidance to discipline managers and contractors to address program challenges, risk, schedule and budget performance.
• Develop project level processes, controls and governance aligning with overall project goals.
• Manage planning and development including engineering, pre-construction/construction, bidding strategy, schedules, cost estimating, budget oversight and commissioning/activation.
• Coordinate with airport operators, airline operations, regulatory agencies and other delivery partners.
• Facilitate development of the overall program schedule and integration of project level schedules.
• Utilize earned value management to track and manage the program and projects.
• Conduct design and construction progress meetings and present progress to stakeholders.
