Job summary

STV is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Aviation to oversee airport terminal improvements on site in New York, NY or Newark, NJ. You will lead design, procurement, permitting, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and ORAT across the aviation program, guiding multiple teams and coordinating with regulators and stakeholders.

You will manage complex capital projects over $10M, using Primavera P6 and PMIS to drive schedules, budgets, and change control, while ensuring quality and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 12 years' experience, preferably on airport projects.
• Experience managing capital projects/programs over $10M.
• Knowledge of airport operations and construction of airport facilities.
• Experience overseeing multiple construction activities concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM, technical oversight for aviation capital improvement projects.
• Lead design management, procurement, permitting, scheduling, cost control, ORAT.
• Guide managers and contractors to address challenges and risk.
• Develop project controls and governance to meet goals.
• Manage planning, bidding, budgets, commissioning, and activation.
• Coordinate with airport divisions, regulators, and delivery partners.
• Develop and integrate program schedules; oversee EV tracking.
• Conduct progress meetings and present to stakeholders.
• Utilize Primavera P6, PMIS, and related software.
• Coordinate traffic/phasing plans and utility shutdowns as needed.
